Visit from Family

It was so fun to have my family come and visit for a couple of days! We did some really fun things and it was so good to see them! This is Zach with Grandma and Grandpa Newton on a bridge.

Grace and Sara! Grace was so excited because a balloon lady came around at dinner and made her a penguin balloon! She named him waddle. It was really cute.

All the girls and Zach Our little rock hopper!! Zach's favorite animal at the zoo is the penguins. He could sit and watch them all day long!! He gets really excited when they swim in the water. Grace also really liked the penguins!!

It was a cold day but we stayed warm!

Zach started laughing when he was about four months old and it is the cutest thing! He usually laughs at new things or when we are playing with him. He thinks his daddy is especially funny. I finally got a video of it:

Balloons

Zach is all boy! He LOVES to be on his feet. We had balloons in our apartment one day and they instantly became his favorite toy. Here is a movie:

He is an active little guy! He keeps us busy!

Rice Cereal

About a month ago we started feeding Zach rice cereal. He LOVED it the first time! It was so fun to feed him something other than milk. It is so fun to watch him grow.

After a couple of weeks we let him try oatmeal cereal and that became his new favorite.

A few days ago we tried to give Zach bananas!! He hated them!!! I guess we will try a new fruit in a week or so. Here is a movie of his first time eating cereal:

Family Update

The Easter Bunny came! And left some really good candy - that Mommy and Daddy can only eat!

Easter Sunday
The basket was hid in Zach's room closet. The bunny must have sneaked in his room!!!

He just got out of bed and already wants to get going on his feet!

3 Months

Zach is 3 months old!!

I can't believe how fast he his growing.

He is getting so big!

He making lots of different noises. He loves to "talk" to us.

He smiles a lot and LOVES to be played with

He can now hold toys and put them in his mouth - he wants to put EVERYTHING in his mouth.

Instead of sucking his thumb, he puts his WHOLE hand in his mouth!!

He still loves his bath.

He does not like to be on his tummy but can flip from his stomach to his back.

He smiles really big when you walk into the room and kicks his little legs up in the air.

He really likes when we help him sit up and stand.

He hates sleeping in the day - if it were his choice he would stay up all day long.

He likes to go on walks with us.

He is sleeping so good! Some nights he has slept 8 hours straight!!

He loves when his dad whistles.

We sure do love this guy!!
